After rebounding slightly last Friday, the pricing of DDR waned with limited transaction today. DDR 32Mx8 White Brand dipped by 2-5 cents/chip at around US$3.6. Major components, DDR 256Mb 32Mx8 400MHz and 333MHz were at the same situation and down by 0.1% at US$4.15 – US$3.9 and at US$4.2 – US$3.98 respectively.

 

Trading activity was light in the Flash sector on Monday. The demand was blurred, resulting in stable pricing, except NAND 4G. NAND 1G for Hynix was deal at US$8.25 and for Samsung at US$8.8. The pricing range for NAND 2G was between US$17.30 and US$18.35. At NAND 8G side, because of higher offering than buyers’ expectation, US$61.8 – US$62.5, trading activities was inactive. As more NAND 4G supplied to the market, its price was under the downward pressure and offered at US$37.5 – US$36.3.

According to little inventory was held, pricing of major components was sustained or went upward in today spot sector. Quote of 32Mx8 White Brand rose up to US$3.62 – US$3.65. Leading the increasing pricing of White Brand, prices of other components kept stable. Meanwhile, resulting from more supply of DDR 32Mx8 400MHz than that of 333MHz, DDR 400MHz was offered at US$4.15 – 3.98, lower than DDR 333MHz at US$4.15 – US$4.1.
